Clay Artists of San Diego and Eric Rempe from Coronado High School are pleased to offer a demonstration workshop with emerging artist, Sunshine Cobb who is currently a Resident Artist at the Archie Bray Foundation in Helena Montana.

“The nature of hand building implies a sculptural investigation, however my love of functional ceramics has lead me down a path that combines both sculpture and function.  The workshop will cover a variety of hand building techniques, slab templates, coiling, pinching and surface development. But my most important goal of all to share with you the joy of the making and development of process. I will be making a number of forms focusing on boxes, vases, and baskets.”
