Pottery Bootcamp 2019

August 3-5, 2019
9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Hosted by El Cajon Valley High School
$200 CASD Members, $225 Non-members

Join us for a 3 day hands on workshop with San Diego potters, Sam Lopez, Allen Reed, Hasuyo Miller, and Bob Farmer. This workshop is designed to fine tune your throwing and hand-building skills, get help with problem areas, and give you the confidence to try something out of your comfort zone. All of our teachers come with a variety of skills and years of experience to guide you during our 3 days of clay making. With the addition of hand-building, we will be able to accommodate up to 20 potters.

This workshop is open to all skill levels and CASD Members will have priority for signing up.

You will need to bring your own clay, tools, towel, throwing bucket, bats or ware boards, plastic and a bag lunch each day. Light refreshments and beverages will be available each day.

This is a skill building workshop and not for producing a quantity of work. None of the work will be fired or finished but you are welcome to take unfired work home.

Information about our teachers can be found on Facebook, Instagram or on their individual Website.

If you would like to sign up for this workshop, please print and fill out the Registration Form.
